Throwing a ball in a dream

The shape of the object in this type of dream is symbolic of completeness.
A ball, a circle, a ring all signify completion. Repetition or “going in circles” should be regarded as the flip side to this.

To the conscious mind throwing a ball is part of a game. We either win or lose. Pitching motion would indicate a person in control. If throwing the ball to another person this may signify an open or unsettled dialogue. An un-pitched idea or conversation not had, may be troubling the mind.

The Psychology of Nightmares

A nightmare is surrounded by hidden dream meanings that cause strong, negative feelings and responses. Typically, nightmares instantly bring a feeling of fear because of the danger and discomfort that it brings to the dreamer. Certain dream symbols direct people to see and associate negative feelings that provides a clinging feeling that inhibits a person to return to sleep. But what do these nightmares really imply?

Nightmares definitely contain unpleasant dream symbols that people would wish to avoid. There are many suppositions that aim to keep a person away from nightmares and the horrid dream interpretations that cultivate fearful thoughts and feelings. Although nightmares bring negative feelings, its appearance in one’s dreams is an important indication to maintain a person’s security and safety.

Dreaming about drowning

To say that one dreams about drowning may be an understatement.  It would should probably mean a nightmare! To dream about drowning is never pleasant but dream interpreters see drowning as a sign from the subconscious that one is feeling overwhelmed in the waking world.

Drowning generally means that there is just too much of something in someone’s life.  Maybe the dreamer is overworked?  stressed?  or maybe tired?  It is the subconscious way of asking the dreamer to slow down, take stock and reevaluate perspectives.

Dreaming about flying

Most people like to dream about flying.  The feeling of weightlessness along with the sensation of being free is a good feeling to dream about.  But what are some of the meanings behind dreams about flying?

Flying over a landscape or above something means that you have overcome some sort of trial and are now enjoying the feeling of flying free.  Most interpreters see flying dreams as conquering dreams or gaining new perspectives.   Generally flying dreams mean you are on top of everything.
