Knowing Your Chakras

Experts say that when your body’s chakras are well-balanced, you are leading a healthy life. In India, chakras are believed to be your body’s energy centers in which all seven should be properly nourished to attain higher level of consciousness. These seven chakras encompass the whole spine in which each chakra is the focal point that transmits, influence and govern energy to various parts of the body. Primarily, chakras are used in traditional Indian medicine but it was also believed to be a contributing factor when dreaming.

When imbalances occur between chakras, the feeling of discomfort and discontentment are instantly present within the person. It was said that when the chakra governing your heart is weak, the person may feel alone and heartbroken without any apparent reason. The same way as it can manifest in his or her dreams in which the chakra is conveying what should be done immediately. In New Age practices, colors represent each of the seven chakras.
