Dream Interpretation- Sex
Men and women both dream about sex. Sexual dreams have fascinated psychologists for centuries. Sigmund Freud, a very well known proponent of Dream Psychology, sees our dreams not only as a road map as to how we really feel but as a symbol of our repressed sexual feelings.
Freud sees containers as representation of the vagina. A jar, a box or even a room may come to connote the vagina. A stick on the other hand is an example of a phallic symbol. Knives, pencils or nail files are representations of the penis.
Sex in dreams have different meanings and most of them have nothing to do with sex at all. If you dream about riding a stallion or horse and getting aroused by this then dream interpreters say that you are having guilty feelings about being attracted to a certain somebody.
Dreaming about having sex with a stranger and having an intense orgasm means that you are successful, confident and sure about yourself. This means that you know what you want and where you are going. You feel powerful, secure and certain as to where you are going and how you are going to get there.
If you dream about having sex in broad day light while other people are looking at you then this means that you are feeling pressure from those people to be the person they want you to become. If you continue to make out with your partner in your dream while everybody is looking then this means that you are comfortable and secure enough not to care what they think. If you feel ashamed and stop then this means that you are giving in to their pressure.
