Being chased in your dreams
Being chased in your dreams are both frustrating and frightening. Usually when the dreamer wakes up after being chased in his dream, his heart is still pounding like crazy. Once in everyone’s life, we experienced being chased in our dreams. When we were kids, monsters chased us, in teenage life, our professors hounded us and when we reach adulthood, it can be our spouse, children, mothers, bosses and just about everybody. Pursuers change but not the chase itself.
According to dream interpretation, being chased in your dreams is you running away from something else in your real life. This is an emotional reflection of your being. You run away from something because you do not want to face this emotional challenge. Remember, running is our primal instinct when there are threats looming ahead. This could be an impending problem you are trying to avoid or a deadline you are trying to meet. It can also be a bad relationship you want to end now but lack the courage to do so. Whatever it is, you can also find its meaning in this “chase sequence” if you know how to manipulate your dreams.
Consider the distance between you and the pursuer. Is he close or far, or almost touching you? This will indicate how close you and your issues are. From there, try to confront issues even in your dreams because your subconscious mind might tell you something that could actually help you sort things out.
